Sunday Morning Youth
Our Youth (yrs 7-11)
We have a very awesome bunch of youth at LBC who are overseen by the fabulous duo, David James and Harrie Phillips. We believe discipleship can happen at any age and stage of life and are fully committed to seeing our teenagers become all Jesus has created them to be. We desire for them to have belonging, to know their purpose and to be fully confident in who they are as children of God. Our desire is to see their generation passionately in love with Jesus and who love being part of the local church. We meet in a safe, fun and encouraging environment where they can explore relevant questions of faith and their application to life. Our LBC youth meet together with youth from other local churches on a Friday night where they are able to connect, build friendships and also dive into Gods rich Word in a relevant way.
FNYC (Friday Night Youth Club)
FNYC meets every Friday evening from 7-8.30pm in the Old School in Lisvane. It aims to follow a 4 weekly rhythm:
Week 1: Normal club, games and some time looking at how Christianity can shape our lives
Week 2: Food and Going Deeper – we visit someone’s home, have games and share food together then followed by looking a something a little deeper in the Bible
Week 3: ‘Try Something New’ – we have workshops where everyone has a go at cooking, sport, art and everything in-between!
Week 4: A trip
