The Big Tent Event
The Big Tent Event is a week where St Denys and Lisvane Baptist Church want to serve our Lisvane community together. ‘Service’ is at the heart of the Christian Gospel and so we have a programme of events for all ages for the duration of half term week. We want to share and show our faith in a real and engaging way that welcomes all.

Come early and place your pizza order and as we wait for food, chat, have some fun together, play games and hear a story about how Christianity has changed lives right now in the 21st Century!
Texas Community Event Saturday 4th November 2:00 – 4:30
A fun community event on Saturday organised by our visiting American friends who will give us a taste of all things Texas. We will have a little music with a song that everyone can learn: “Deep in the Heart of Texas” (includes hand-clapping and is sung in Texas at stadium sporting events). You can learn and join in with some line dancing. Make yourself a cowboy hat, kerchiefs with a sheriff’s badge thrown in for the little ones and a host of Texas games: horse shoes, pig round up, and Texas flag crafts. If you have cowboy boots . . . wear ‘em!
This event is a chance for you to drop in for as long or as short a time as you like and have a giggle and learn some Texan skills at the same time.
